FamilyLock Parent and FamilyLock Child are distributed free of charge for personal, non-commercial family use under the Terms of Use. The applications are provided with signed release artifacts; no warranty whatsoever is provided. This site and the applications are independent of Google LLC and of the Android trademark holders, except that Android is a trademark of Google LLC, and "Device Owner" is a system role of the Android operating system.
FamilyLock is not distributed through Google Play and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google Play, Samsung, or any other app store. Downloading APK files directly carries general "sideloading" risks; you are encouraged to verify the SHA-256 checksums below before installing.
Each release's APK is signed with a release keystore. You can verify an APK's integrity with the SHA-256 of the file itself. Current release (v1.0.0):

Per-file SHA-256 checksums are published with each release announcement on this site. To verify on Android after downloading, use a file-hash tool; a mismatch means the file was corrupted or tampered with — do not install.

The applications are built with open-source frameworks, including the Jetpack libraries (Kotlin/Compose), kotlinx.coroutines, and the Google Play Services location APIs, under their respective Apache-2.0/BSD licenses. Their notices are distributed with the apps.
The Software may not be used in violation of any applicable export-control or sanctions laws. You may not use FamilyLock in connection with any illegal activity.
